I well remember the first time I came to Scotland, it was three years ago. After that, Scotland has been the most important place for me to write poems and cultivate my sensibility. This year, I has been trying to make some poetical arts with looking for the origin of poetry. I’m very pleased that I can show them to you.

A new collection of my poems has just been published in English this summer. The title of my new book is “Rules in A Vacant Lot”. It consists of sixteen poems like fantasies or allegories. I’m going to read some of the poems in this book.

Uchida Go

Born in Hiroshima in 1983. Studied law at university as well as writing poems and graphic design on his own. Published some collections of poems and picture books in Japan. And create poetry products—greeting card, poster, wrapping paper, T-shirts etc.
