“THE LONG JOURNEY” is a new book of the collected poems written about the scenery and living life of Scotland, Ireland and Sweden in 2014, 2015. All poems were written in Japanese at first, after that, they were translated into English by Go Uchida. And also you can enjoy 18 poetic photographs which added to each poems. The book design is truly unique through breaking down the fixed idea of a conventional editorial design. “THE LONG JOURNEY” will show you the new side of Go Uchida who advanced on to his new stage. That book symbolizes ‘the long journey’ of Go Uchida and his future works.

 

2012年からつづく、年に一度の英国・スコットランドへの旅のうち、2014・2015年に訪れたスコットランド・アイルランド・スウェーデンで書かれた詩を、日英両言語で収録。18の詩にはそれぞれ詩的な美しい写真が添えられ、エディトリアルデザインの定石からはみ出したとてもコテ性的なデザインでまとめられている。『長い旅』は、これまでの詩とデザインに対する考え方から脱け出した、ウチダゴウの新たな表情を見せる詩集となっているとともに、してきなしごとのこれから始まる「長い旅」を象徴する一冊。
