手芸雑貨 nuno to ito
日々を力むこともなく優しく生きる。本当にそんな生きかたを実現できている人は、そのことを特段意識することもなく、ごく自然にその日々を過ごしているものだ、とぼくは思います。
2013年8月、長野県松本市に手芸雑貨店「nuno to ito」をオープンした長橋さん。30〜40代以上の大人向けなシックさとチャーミングさのある商品を、海外をメインに国内外から選りすぐって扱う、個人経営の手芸雑貨店です。彼女との出会いはかれこれ2年ほど前だと思います。妻であり、母であり、会社員でもある、にもかかわらず、どの役割においても力むことなく、風のように柔らかく、それがさも当然のように日々を過ごされている。その立ち居振る舞いがぼくは本当に好きで、 ぼくがこっそり尊敬する大人のうちのひとりです。そんな彼女が（またしても風のように柔らかく）さらりと仕事を辞め、さらりと開業に取りかかったのが、このお店。お手伝いができるのがとても嬉しい仕事でした。
シンボルマークは、店名にもある「布」と「糸」を、可能な限りシンプルに描いたもの。扱う商品のパターン、想定する世代、長橋さんが好む色合いなどを考慮しながら、少し落ち着いた、少し遊びのある配色を選びました。ロゴタイプは流れのある筆記体の英字を、一文字ずつ区切るという、ちょっと不思議なフォントを手書きで制作。ショップカードに使用した洋紙は、モデラトーンGAスノー。エンボスよりも凹凸の浅いフェルトマーク文様が、このお店の空気にフィットする予感がしました。サイズも、海外で名刺によく使われている「50mm×89mm」の様式に。ほんの少しスリムなスタイルになっています。
本屋、カフェ、ゲストハウス、バー、イベントスペースなど、ここのところ、松本市は開業ラッシュ。そして新たに加わった手芸雑貨店「nuno to ito」。ぜひ足を運んでみてください。

Living calmly, without strain every day. Such a people aren’t especially aware of it, and they are living naturally every day – I think so. Noriko Nagahashi independently started her handicraft shop named “nuno to ito (means Fabric and Thread)” in Matsumoto-city Nagano on August 2013. She’s going to sell foreign fabric with chic and charming. If I remember correctly, I met her 2 years ago at my rental book store. She is a wife, a mother, and an office worker. But she does the triple duty very calmly, without strain, like kindly breeze. I had been liked such a her living style, so I was really happy to design about her new-born shop.
The symbol mark is designed in the motif of a piece of cloth and thread. The color is restfully and chic. The logotype is bonnie cursive style like thread. I chose a paper named “Modelatone GA snow” as the shop card. The paper is pressed a cloth in intaglio. I guessed that the character would just fit her and her shop’s atmosphere. The cards shape is a little longer and more slim than japanese general cards.
