‘douguya tasaki’ is a craft studio based in Saitama and it specializes in producing and repairing daily necessities—cutleries, lights and furnitures. In May of 2016, ‘douguya tasaki’ is going to hold its first exhibition at a studio of Shiteki na Shigoto. Stools, ottomans and light stands is going to be displayed. All of them made by the craftsman Kazunobu Tasaki who has good skill it developed for other repair studio and really unique senses. This time, on weekdays we try to hold the exhibition from 2pm to 9pm because we hope that all of you enjoy the unique shapes of its light stands and warm lights.

ドウグヤタサキは、埼玉を拠点に、スツールから照明まで、日常生活に用いる道具の制作と修理を専門に行なう道具屋。2016年5月、してきなしごとのアトリエで、長野県下で初めてとなる個展「ドウグヤタサキ・ひとりクラフト」を開催します。カトラリーからスツール、オットマン、そしてライトスタンドなど、修理工房で培った技術と、道具屋・田崎和延の不思議な感性によって生まれた道具たちが集まります。今回、平日は遅めの時間帯に店を開きます。夕方から夜にかけて、ライトスタンドの愉快な形と温かな灯りをお楽しみいただけたら幸いです。

ドウグヤタサキ

Born in Oyama-city, Tochigi in 1975. Graduated from the Department of Architecture of Tokyo Polytechnic University. He has made lights and joined in some art events, exhibitions and dramas since 2000. Started to produce his original stools and cutleries. Moved his base to Saitama in 2012.

1975年、栃木県小山市生。東京工芸大学建築学科卒。2000年以降灯りの製作およびアート企画・展示・舞台に参加し始める。2011年、椅子・カトラリーの製作開始。2012年に埼玉県さいたま市に拠点を移す。舞台の空間デザインや演出、家具の製作、空間リフォームの提案、デザインなど多岐に渡る。
